Rob Meany “Ferris Wheels Unbound” Release Show

After releasing three albums with his band, Terramara, over the past 15 years, Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter Rob Meany takes a hiatus to present his first solo album, Ferris Wheels Unbound. Rob’s new release mostly departs from the rock quartet production of past albums, instead presenting a more subdued collection of intimate performances and organic arrangements. The mostly piano and acoustic guitar-based tunes are enhanced occasionally by strings and jazz-trio. Producer Andy Thompson (Jeremy Messersmith, Natalie Lovejoy, Kevin Steinman) adds an art-pop sheen to the tracks while maintaining their homegrown, folksy style.
