Review – Irie Sol celebrates a CD release, F Scott Fitzgerald’s birthday and soft opening of the famous Commodore Bar

If I built a time machine, and I could bring one band with me to the past, present, and the future, I’d pick Irie Sol. A full brass section, guitars, basses, drums, keyboards and three main vocalists, their music is joyous, and their songs tell a story. Thursday night I joined them in their time machine to celebrate F Scott Fitzgerald’s birthday at the historic Commodore Hotel. Live Review – Postina CD Release at the Pourhouse
All pop bands should have a violinist in their pocket. That’s what I learned at the Postina CD release on Friday night at the Pourhouse. And they should all be as versatile as Faith Eskola, who also plays violin, keyboards, mandolin and sings backup.
