From the burgeoning music scene of Hibbing, MN comes Average Mammals. They have a new release entitled Petrichor. The release show is tonight in Hibbing, we should carpool up there and check them out.
Somewhere between a nostalgic pop band, with a touch here and there of post-punk, Average Mammals have a sound unique enough to keep you interested in what they are trying to pull off. The songs are catchy and mostly upbeat mixed with a few slower songs. “Kickstart” and “Small Talks” are my two favorites, and worth giving more than a few listens to.
