Ahead of the release of their new record “I’m here but I’m not” on September 27th and their performance at the “Back to the City @ the Grotto” release party this Thursday, August 30th at Mortimers, OKnice perform three new songs – “Passing By,” “Cool Song,” and “Dear Shawn, It’s Been Hard” – at The Grotto.
Also performing at Thursday’s event will be Seaberg, Elle PF, and Symone Smash It. New “@ The Grotto” music videos from self-evident, glow mechanics and thyself will be premiered on Mortimers’ big projector between the live sets.

Today Back to the City is pleased to present this career-spanning interview with Sonia and Travis Even of Lovely Dark. To complement their in-studio session, recorded back on Wednesday, June 20th and released through RIFT last week, the songwriting nucleus of Lovely Dark here join Back to the City host and curator Simon Calder to discuss how themes of birth and rebirth resurface throughout their catalog.
Back to the City is now shooting in-studio sessions at The Grotto in Uptown.
