Justin Bell has been making music locally for a long time, and just recently Bell and his band have released their fifth album Greetings From Apocalyptic Falls.
j. bell and The Lazy Susan Band Describe themselves as straight up rock and roll music, but this album is deeper than that, it’s more pop and clean. Wherein the story behind the album is more complicated and a little darker than the usual pop-rock album.
Bell is turning forty today, and while most local musicians* should probably hang it up by then, it seems like he and his band still might have a few albums left in the tank.
*Disclaimer – the writer of this article is almost 50 and still trying to play music as well. It’s a joke, lots of great local musicians over 40 in this town.
