This is the opening track of Katy Vernon’s new album Present. This new record jettisons Vernon to the next level with well crafted and interesting pop songs. Uke Fest – Night One

Since one night is not enough, the fourth annual celebration of the ukulele will be held on a Friday and Saturday night at the Aster Café in Minneapolis. Led by singer Katy Vernon, the event will feature performances by members of The Hula Peppers, The Meteor Boys, The Lau Hawaiian Collective, Lynn O’Brien, Dean Johnson, Ava Levy, Daniel Nass, Jake Rowan, Wendy Sunshine, Katy Vernon and many more. Ukuleles welcome, audience sing-a-long at the end. All profits go to support the Arc Greater Twin Cities. Friday, October 9. 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm. $10.
