There is no mistake, you are in the right place. Pachyderm beckons. The studio once still and silent is awash with people inside and out. The drive up to the 1963 built Frank Lloyd Wright inspired house is ringed with gates festooned with majestic elephants, and in the planted bed in front of the prairie style rambler there lives a trio of Pachyderms, trunks joyously raised in greeting.

The CD VOICE: SONGS FOR THOSE WHO ARE SILENCED supports the work of the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota. The campaign is called MN Girls Are Not For Sale and its mission is to end the sex trafficking of minors. The Safe Harbor Law was passed with the support of Amy Klobuchar on the local level in 2011 and in 2015 a federal law was passed to change the legal perception of the perpetrator of sex trafficking to the victim of it instead. Minnesota is number one in the systemic response to sex trafficking, and its system serves as a nationwide model. Rehabilitation starts with safe beds (from a few to 24 currently available) and continues with treatment for the trauma they’ve suffered. Continue reading
